Why Armasar?
What does Armasar mean?
The word armăsar means stallion. We chose the name because of the motif of the warhorse, trained for battle, to be steadfast in the madness of war, and to take its rider to victory. Similarly, we aim to expedite the journeys of our clients by providing swift, dependable support, unshakable in the face of big deliveries, looming deadlines, and daunting requests.
What sets Armasar apart?

Why use Armasar instead of hiring in-house designers?
In-house designers have salary requirements, associated software license fees, and they're often specialised (so you may need multiple team members to cover the range of services we offer). Conversely, our team integrates with yours only when you need us. And instead of having to hire multiple designers with different skill sets, our team operates across multiple disciplines, meaning you'll work with the team member that fits your project's requirements. Think of us as the cavalry: you call us in when you need to expand your team or capabilities on resource-intensive projects, or where special skills are required.
What if you already have a design team or in-house design?
We work with in-house teams when they need to expand their capabilities on specific projects, or to increase their capacity on resource-intensive jobs.
Booking and Availability
How does availability work?
If you know in advance that you'll need our support, you can book us for the period you need us. Alternatively, if you need ad-hoc support in a pinch, reach out to us to check if we're available.
Can I secure future availability?
Absolutely. You can book us in advance for the period you need us - time can be booked months in advance, or you can arrange a retainer that guarantees our availability for up to a year.
I only need support every now and then. Can you still help?
Yes! Many of our clients prefer an ad-hoc approach. Though the hourly rate is higher, there is no commitment or minimum requirements - just let us know when you need us, and we'll confirm availability.
What are your rates?
We offer four billing options: 1. ad-hoc support, 2. day- or week-rates, 3. a retainer that can be anywhere from one to twelve months, and 4. project-based rates. Get in touch with us to find out our specific rates for each.
Are you available for evening and weekend work for tight deadlines?
We can be, and we'll confirm on a case-by-case basis.
What if I need more hands on deck?
We're often able to add additional team members to support you on the project. When booking, you can choose how many team members you'd like to book. Alternatively, if additional support is needed on an ad-hoc bases, this can be arranged based on availability.
Do I book on a per-job basis? Can I use you on other client projects?
If you book our time, and can use that time across multiple projects if you like. We'll be available up to the number of hours you've booked us for.
Can I be assured of your full attention?
Once you've booked our time, our designer is assigned to your task alone for the duration of your booking. This ensures that your project will receive their full attention. We firmly believe in delivering on time and to brief, so our entire approach has been set up to support this.
Project Management and Tracking
Who will manage my project?
You'll work with a dedicated project manager who will field all requests and coordinate our team resources to ensure you get what you need, when you need it.
How do I get progress updates?
Our time trackers are updated at the end of every work day, so you can see how time and billing is progressing. Depending on the nature of the project, we'll email you daily or weekly updates, so you have a clear idea of where things stand with billing and progress to target.
